Walailak University hosted its annual 2026 Retirement Appreciation Ceremony to honor, express gratitude to, and celebrate staff members who have served with dedication and sacrifice, playing a vital role in the university’s development throughout their careers. The event was filled with warmth and heartfelt appreciation, attended by university executives, faculty, and staff from various departments. Notably, team members from the Division of Landscaping and Building gathered to offer flowers, bright smiles, and well wishes to their retiring colleagues as they reached this major milestone. This year, the Division of Landscaping and Building celebrates the retirement of two distinguished members. Both have been essential figures behind the scenes, maintaining the university’s landscapes, infrastructure, and public utilities to ensure a clean, safe, beautiful, and shaded green campus. Throughout their tenure, both individuals dedicated their energy and hearts to performing their duties with deep responsibility and integrity, serving as exemplary role models for junior staff. Although their official service has come to an end, their lasting contributions, cherished memories, and strong bond with the Walailak community will endure forever, echoing the true spirit of the event’s theme: “Walailak: Love Never Retires.”
