Facilities Management Personnel Participate in Workshop on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for Personnel

On May 5, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Mr. Apirun Busayakun, Acting Head of Water Treatment Plant, and Mr. Jeerawat Onthong, a staff member from the Facilities Management Division, participated in a workshop on “Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” for personnel.

Walailak University is committed to driving towards becoming a “Sustainable University” according to its 20-year strategic plan (2018-2037). The goal is to develop the university to achieve excellence coupled with a balanced approach to social and environmental responsibility, encompassing efficient resource management, reducing environmental impact, and upgrading operations to meet international standards. This includes implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Green University approach, and driving the organization towards carbon neutrality.
In this regard, Walailak University recognizes the importance of enhancing knowledge and understanding among personnel in all sectors so that they can concretely apply sustainability approaches in their work. Therefore, a workshop on “Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” was organized for personnel to convey concepts, practices, and operational mechanisms related to the university’s sustainable development. The workshop was held at the Phatthara Dharma Phra Phon Meeting Room, 9th floor, Building B, Walailak University Medical Center Hospital.
